04 Nov CHARITY DINNER A SELL OUT!
PA Today Director, Pam Allen organised a sell-out Dining Divas Charity Dinner in aid of Mid Cheshire Hospital Trust’s Charity Appeal for a new MRI scanner. 60 ladies enjoyed a three course meal prepared by students at The Academy, South Cheshire College raising £539.
Pam said “When I learned that the current MRI scanner is working to full capacity 7 days a week I was delighted to support the appeal to provide another one and help save more lives. The ladies had a great evening raising money for this worthwhile cause. We would like to thank everyone who donated a raffle prize and items for the goodie bags.
Laura Riddle, Mid Cheshire Hospital Trust Charity, commented “We are so grateful to Pam for holding this event and to all the ladies who came along. It was a great evening with a fantastic amount raised towards the appeal and a really good way to also support the South Cheshire College Learners.”
Julia Sanders, South Cheshire College, said “The evening was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our newly refurbished ‘Academy’ restaurant, and to allow our learners to enhance their catering and front-of-house skills whilst contributing to this worthwhile cause”.
