Are you lacking consistency? Do you know where you want to get to, but not sure how to get there?

Are you running at half speed or frustrated with yourself for not reaching a higher gear?

Business can be challenging, it can be hugely fulfilling, but also it can be scary and can sometimes call for an element of soul searching to get you to where you need to be in life.

Sometimes it can take renewed effort just to keep going…and that’s ok. Could one of these factors be standing in your way?

  • Stress

Are your attentions pulled in one hundred directions? Sometimes, when we try to take on too many tasks at once, a sense of overwhelm can creep in and this can lead to stress and a lack of clarity in our thinking and actions.

  • Lack of focus

What are you passionate about? Revisit the reason why you are doing what you are doing. Get back to basics – why did you start your business or your current project and where do you think you are losing focus? It may be due to passion or insight into your activities.

  • Lack of time

Is your week structured? Are your tasks mapped out? How strict are you with your time and diary management? If you are getting into a muddle with your focused hours and work-life balance is a distant memory, it may be time to re-evaluate your approach and mix things up a little – trial and error is the order of the day here.

  • Comparing yourself to others

What is stopping you from reaching your next milestone? Are you caught up with what everyone else is doing around you? If your peers are hampering your progress and you can’t stop comparing your results with theirs, remember to stay in your lane and focus on what you want to achieve.

By stopping to take stock and reassess your position, you are much more likely to start again in a stronger position with a renewed vision and clarity of the goal in sight.

So if you are start-stop in your business and your weekly efforts, do yourself a favour, simply stop and take time to work out your next move.
